The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel

Cassandra Clare is a well-known author, and if you've never heard of her or read any of her books, then yes, I'm going to silently judge you. All of her novels are brilliant, and I could fan-girl about The Mortal Instruments series (my favourite!) all day long, but I won't, because this blog post is about the first book in the The Infernal Devices trilogy.

Finding Audrey

In a recent competition, I was lucky enough to win a copy of Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. It's a YA book I've been wanting to read for a very long time, so to say I squealed when a copy arrived at my door was an understatement.

Ruby Red

I'm obsessed with books that have pretty dresses on the cover, and I one-hundred percent blame Kiera Cass for this. Whilst scrolling through the book section of Amazon (and mentally crying because of how much this browsing made my TBR list grow), I spotted Ruby Red  by Kerstin Gier from a mile away. Naturally, I had to add it to my basket, because let's do the maths here: pretty cover + decent sounding blurb = a must buy, right?

All The Bright Places

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven is 378 pages in length, a book that I read in one sitting and just couldn't put down. It's the kind of story that will make you want to cry and eat endless tubs of ice cream once you've finished it, but aside from that, it's one heck of a brilliant novel.

Beautiful Broken Things

A few days ago, I went out shopping with the intent of buying new clothes and shoes for college. Instead, I ended up with two new books in my basket: All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, and Beautiful Broken Things by Sara Barnard, two recommendations by Zoella's book club that I just had to read after hearing about.
